Netteam tX are kicking off the start of 2016 as we mean to go on. This month we are commencing a full Hotel Technology refresh for one of our latest London Hotel clients. This project will consist of a new Leased Line connection with resilience and heightened firewall security, a new converged HP network, a Ruckus Wifi solution with full 802.11ac coverage alongside a Zone Director to manage the solution. The wifi solution was designed by our fully qualified team of technicians using Ekahau site survey tools.
In order to ensure the client can apply some value added services to their new Wifi solution, we have also specified and will be applying a new captive portal, using AirAngel (click AirAngel to find out more) technologies to provide a 360-degree view of the clients WiFi network, administration tools and a suite of customer engagement utilities.
The solution will make it easy for our client to harness the power of mobile marketing and social media by controlling, personalising and socialising the customer experience.
They will find great advantages from their new Leased Line, upgrading from a previous slow and contended ADSL circuit, they will now experience impressive connectivity speeds with added peace of mind around knowing that any faults now have a business grade SLA in place for rapid fault resolutions.
Following the implementation of this impressive suite of connectivity technologies being applied, the hotel will be implementing a hosted version of Oracle’s Opera PMS, a new POS solution, Windows 2012 AD server, Workstation and Laptop replacements and a Datto DR solution, to complete the full technology refresh as per guidance from our team of hospitality specialists.
